Leash your dog.

The Town Ordinance concerning Dog Control, taken from NH RSA 466:30-a states, in part:

“…it shall be unlawful for any dog to run at large, except when accompanied by the owner or custodian, and when used for hunting, for guarding, working, or herding livestock,…”

Springfield was first settled in 1769 under the name of Protectworth.
The town was incorporated in 1794 and the name Springfield was adopted.
